The Restore function in WorkExpo allows you to specify a WorkExpo data file and use it rather than an older version of the file. In simple terms, the restore function is a copy and paste procedure. A data file which you nominate, is copied from it's location and pasted in the path of the current data file overwriting it.
Just as you might replace an older version of a Word document with a newer version by overwriting the older version the Restore function works much the same way.
This means that rather than using the Restore function you could use Windows Explorer to copy and paste the file manually from one location to another. To do this you need to know the path of the current data file and be sure that the file you are overwriting is an older version.
