WorkExpo On-Line Help
Email Documents for a Single Student

You can now send emails for an individual student and attached any or all available documents. The email can be sent to the employer, student or the parent or a combination of all. Documents no longer need to be previewed before being sent.

In the Print Wizard (or in the Quick Print dialog available in the Arrangements screen) you can now select 'Email' rather than Print or Preview. (See image below)

To send an email with attached documents, follow these steps:

Please note that you cannot use this email feature when sending a document to multiple employers or multiple students, as that would require multiple email messages (possibly with multiple attachments) to be generated on your system.

Click 'Email Options...' to specify who to send the email to.

Select recipients by placing a check mark next to the recipient name (shown above) and select SAVE AND CLOSE

You can click the orange EDIT... link to add or edit the email address detail and other details can be edited from here.

Click the top Edit... link to edit Employer details or click the lower Edit... link to edit student/parent details.

Note that the Subject and Body Content have been left blank above.

Your notes here:

Click SAVE & CLOSE to save your changes.

After you click EMAIL, the email is ready to be previewed and checked before sending.

If you leave the SUBJECT blank, then WorkExpo will automatically generate a subject as follows:
Work Experience: Student Name - Date Range

If you leave the body text blank, WorkExpo will use the content from the Letter To Employer otherwise it will use your custom body content.

You can edit the subject header and body content by clicking 'Email Options...' blue hyperlink on the documents to select page of the Wizard.

Note that the content of the email is the content of the Letter to Employer. If you wish to change this content you can.
