Delete Student Records

There are different methods you can use to delete student records.

 

Method 1: Delete a single student record.

In the students window navigate to the student record you wish to delete.

  1. From the Edit menu choose Delete student.
  2. This will delete the student record and any associated arrangement records.

 

Method 2: Delete several student records in a single step.

In the students window:

  1. From the Edit / Delete menu option choose Delete student records...
  2. In the Delete students wizard select the students you wish to delete.
  3. You can choose to delete a year level group, homegroup or select multiple student records.
  4. Follow the directions in the wizard.
  5. Then click the Delete button.

 

Method 3: Delete all student records in a single step.

In the students window:

  1. From the Edit /Delete menu option choose Delete ALL students records.
  2. Then click the Delete button. This will delete all students.
  3. All student records and all arrangement records will be deleted.

 

Method 4: Delete duplicate student records

In the students window:

  1. From the Edit / Delete menu option choose Delete student records...
  2. In the Delete students wizard choose Selected Students and click Next
  3. Place a tick in the checkbox Show Duplicate records only.
  4. Then click the Delete button.

 

 NOTE: When you delete student records any related arrangement records are also deleted.
